We are therefore delighted to share these funding opportunities which will reduce the costs of registration and travel for attendees who might not be able to participate otherwise. We are grateful to the National Digital Preservation Program of China, Portico, the Digital Preservation Coalition and DPOE-N who have made this possible.

Digital Preservation Coalition (DPC) Supported Registration for DPC Members

DPC Logo

2022 is the twentieth anniversary of the founding of the DPC.  To mark this, the DPC is sponsoring participation in iPres for its entire membership around the world.

The Executive Board has set aside funds to meet the registration fee for one in-person conference delegate from every DPC member. This unique offer is designed to ensure a wide representation of the DPC community at the conference, especially by those who would not otherwise be able to participate. This offer is made in good faith to add value and expanding participation. It should not substitute existing budgets.  Where in-person attendance is impossible, online attendance can be substituted.

Nominations for these sponsored places can only be made by an organization’s designated DPC contact. The nomination should confirm that the application has been considered and endorsed on behalf of the member, and that other sources of funding either are not available or not sufficient. The Executive Board particularly encourages applications that support:

·         Early years’ professionals or junior members of staff who might not normally be able to attend

·         Those who would face barriers to attendance, such as lack of access to funding or difficulties receiving approval for development opportunities

·         First time attendees

·         Additional attendance by agencies already committed to sending one or more delegates.

Nominations which do not meet these criteria may be returned. Nominations are due by 07:00 (UTC) on Tuesday 31st May 2022. Details of eligibility and the nomination process are provided on the link below.
